Made of glossy Box calfskin, Hermès’ Black Constance 23 is a vintage blast from the past! It’s paired with gold-tone hardware most notable in the H clasp that opens by lifting the center bar to reveal a black-leather interior divided into two sections. There is one slide pocket in the front compartment and one zipped pocket in the back, and the adjustable flat leather strap has shoulder drops of 7.5 inches or 14 inches. Previously loved with a dustbag, it’s stamped with a V in a circle and has scratches on the clasp which is tight to open, wear on the corners and edges, marks on the leather and inside, and needs an airing out. I think it’s safe to say this vintage bag has what it takes to become your Constance companion!
