Designed by Aline Honoré, Hermès’ La Femme aux Semelles de Vent Scarf pays tribute to Belgian-French explorer and author Alexandra David-Néel, the first European woman to enter the Tibetan city of Lhasa when it was forbidden to outsiders! Made from 100% silk, the colorway includes blanc, violine, and glacier. The center medallion illustrates David-Néel and her adopted son during their journey through Tibet—the Dali Lama’s winter palace lies at the end of the trail. A series of colorful borders depict regional wildlife and traditional floral motifs. In excellent condition with a box and unattached tag, there’s a tiny pull by one edge. Explore the scads of looks that are possible when the scarf is worn in different ways!
