Because this is a vintage Chanel Small Black Classic Double Flap, it means the lambskin it’s made with is buttery soft! Gold-tone hardware can be found in the logo turnlock and leather-through-chain strap with a 9-inch drop for the shoulder or 16.5 inches for crossbody wear. A zipped pocket can be found on the underside of the first flap and a slide pocket lies behind the second snapped flap. Pop the snap and reveal a slide pocket on the face and, in the burgundy leather interior, you’ll find two slide pockets divided by a lipstick pocket. In good condition from 1998-99, it comes with a dustbag and card, and has wear on the second flap, inside, on the corners and edges, and marks on the leather. Don’t ignore that Mona-Lisa-smile slide pocket on the back face—it’s more useful than would appear at first blush!
