Symbolic of the love between Coco and Boy Capel, the camellia works its way into many of the house’s designs and here it is in Chanel’s Camellia Drop Logo Pierced Earrings! Made of two-tone metal, the interlocking C’s are bezel set with yellow crystals, while the camellia flower that dangles from it has one yellow crystal at its center. They have lots of movement and one of the earrings has a post-and-clutch back (the other is missing). In good condition with a pouch and box, they are tarnished and one earring back is missing. In Japan, “camellia” means “excellence without pretension”—the perfect description for the entire Chanel esthetic!
