This Louis Vuitton Monogram Petite Malle hearkens back to the house’s luggage-making history! A mini version of a trunk, it’s made of brown coated canvas with black-leather trim and both gold and black hardware. It opens with a gold clasp to a beige-leather-lined interior with one slide pocket inside. In good condition, it has scratches on the hardware and leather parts (especially on the strap that pulls over the top), some white marks on the canvas, scratches and marks inside, wear on the corners, and the black finish has rubbed off one of the rivets on the back. The cool thing about this petite trunk is that when you remove the detachable, adjustable shoulder strap shown with a 23-inch drop, you can clutch this LV in the palm of your hand—something you couldn’t do with a full-size steamer!
